Goal:
As the high school ministry of Catheys Valley Baptist Church, we teach students that life is about Christ. Our desire is to see grow in how they obey Him, treasure Him, proclaim Him, and serve for His glory. As students hear the Gospel, trust in Christ, and turn from sin, we do not turn our attention to worldly entertainment but to deeper discipleship and equipping for ministry. At Catheys Valley Baptist Students as a ministry, it is our highest goal to make and multiply Christ followers through discipleship, modeling theological truths, and reaching the lost.
Philosophy:
We view teenagers as young adults, not children. They are at a unique time of transition from childhood to adulthood. Therefore, we strive to walk with young people as they transition to adulthood, discipling them to have their own spiritual convictions is our top priority as they understand, apply, and delight in God’s Word
Secondly, we believe the Bible has given the responsibility to parents and the church for the evangelism and discipleship of children. Which is why we place such a high importance on partnering with parents in the evangelism and discipleship of their children.
